“Young Fashion Designer Slava Zeitsev” from LIFE Photo Archive

I’m hooked on browsing the LIFE photo archive. As of last year Google began hosting over ten million images from the LIFE archives, most of which have never been published. Everything from fashion to world events, sports to animals. There’s pretty much anything you can imagine from 1750’s through present day. I’m finding it to be a great source for inspiration and reference material (although keeping in mind that LIFE’s copyrighted images are for personal non-commercial use only).

I think each week I’ll post up at least one favorite image I’ve come across. This first week’s image, photographed by Stan Wayman in 1963, I found while browsing photos tagged under 1960’s.
